In January 2016, the Steinweg family visited the country of Gambia and fell in love with the country and its people. The idea of building a school here was quickly born, as this is an important basis for the development of children and young people. The association “Education for The Gambia” was founded and a plot of land of more than 25,000 square metres was bought and the construction of the outbuildings and the carpentry workshop started. Now we are finally ready. On 3 October 2022, we were able to start teaching 2 classes and now need your help to further expand our school.
